‘Jack Dorsey’s first tweet’ NFT isn’t worth much the price it was bought for. The first buyer, Sina Estavi, bought the NFT for $2.9M, now it is not even worth a million dollars.
The crypto entrepreneur Sina Estavi put up the NFT for auction at the rate of $48M, but the NFT community was least interested in the high price. The bid began at 0.0019 ETH, around $6 and the last bid ended on Wednesday with the price of 0.09 ETH around $277.
Currently, the highest bid on Opensea for ‘Jack Dorsey’s first tweet’ NFT is 2 ETH, which is around $6,000.
The price is low compared to the original price it was bought for. The NFT owner, Sina, is still not ready to sell the NFT for a lower price despite the expiry date. He is waiting for more bids that could be closest to $48M.
Netizens find it outrageous that a tweet could be worth that much money.
