Amazon Prime recently dropped a 6-episode TV documentary series called NFTme to explore the origin of NFT culture and how different artists, creators, and professionals view it as a way to build careers. The show is an educational dive into non-fungible tokens that aims to change mindsets.
NFTs are mainly defined as a combination of art and technology to produce something unique and give users and artists a chance to own assets digitally. The show opens by introducing the NFT community culture and influencers within the space and continues to show examples of people’s Web3 journey.
Around 50 NFT pioneers join NFTme to explain this new technology to viewers around the world and show them how it has opened career opportunities for them. Some of the guests include Susaye Greene, Queen Diambi Kabatusuila, Refik Anadol, and Cheryl Douglas.
The series further explores how fashion brands, music labels, and other traditional companies are adopting this technology. It also touches upon the metaverse and digital tokens since they connect with NFTs.
“NFTMe intends to be the MTV of NFTs, providing the default go-to for information on NFTs in a clear, understandable, and effective way…” said Jonny Caplan, the director of the show.
