Baby Shark, the global phenomenon that went viral on YouTube and holds the record of most viewed video in YouTube history, is finally returning with its second NFT collection. After the success of its debut NFT collection in December 2021, the team behind Baby Shark announced the second set of 10k NFTs will be launched on MakersPlace.
Baby Shark song was the most streamed content on YouTube. From adults to young children, everyone was hooked on the addictive music and lyrics. Later, Pinkfong, the entertainment company, and creator of Baby Shark decided to debut exclusive NFTs themed around Baby Shark characters.
Pinkfong collaborated with Sony Music Entertainment, Relentless Records, and SmartStudy to release digital collectibles on MakersPlace. The NFT was a huge success as the collection sold out with around $196K in primary sales.
Now, the company is ready to release the second batch of NFTs featuring Baby Shark characters on the Binance NFT marketplace.
About Baby Shark: Collection No. 2
Baby Shark: Collection No. 2 will feature 10,000 NFTs designed as uniquely-generative art of the titular baby shark, Baby Shark, Mommy Shark, Daddy Shark, Grandma Shark, and Grandpa Shark.
The first collection had 5 limited editions of the shark family pieces and a unique 1/1 auction piece. For this collection, the company is yet to reveal how the NFTs will be sold. The only detail released as of now is that it will be released on MakersPlace.

The brand has announced collaborations with various musicians to drop exclusive remixes of Baby Shark that will be available on the limited edition of NFTs.
Based on its roadmap, the brand plans on launching its own metaverse. By making music as the key component of DNA, Baby Shark remixes will be available on metaverse, only accessible for NFT holders.
To add more, Pinkfong will award its community with special prizes so that people can connect and enjoy benefits at the same time.

As a promotion to the Baby Shark: Collection No. 2, Pinkfong is partnering with well-known events producers, Nolcha Shows, by hosting Baby Shark parties at NFT NYC. 2022 on June 20. It will be a “night of fantastic entertainment, music, and networking,” where the company will give a sneak peek at the new collection.
