To encourage more women to participate in the Web3 industry, Barbie and Boss Beauties have announced a joint digital collectibles project.
On May 18, Flow will formally introduce the Boss Beauties x Barbie NFTs, which cost $25 per pack. A $250,000 donation to the Barbie Dream Gap Project and the Boss Beauties Foundation has also been announced by Barbie and Boss Beauties.

Barbie and Boss Beauties have teamed up to release their Boss Beauties x Barbie digital collectibles in an effort to bring Mattel’s renowned fashion doll brand into the metaverse.
To encourage women and girls to believe they can accomplish anything, the collection, which honours the 250 careers in the Barbie line, was created. Combining the signature styles of both Barbie and Boss Beauties, the collection includes career traits such as artists, astronauts, CEOs, doctors, pet vets, and pilots.
Available on MattelCreations.com and priced at $25 per pack, the Flow-based NFTs are designed to be accessible to newcomers to Web3. Each pack of the collection contains four randomly chosen Boss Beauties x Barbie collectibles, offering a variety of rarities. On May 1, early access to the collection started. Early access to the collection began on May 10, ahead of the official launch on May 18, which coincides with a joint activation at Veecon.

To further their shared mission of empowering women, Barbie and Boss Beauties have also jointly announced a $250,000 donation to the Barbie Dream Gap Project and the Boss Beauties Foundation.
The collaboration advances Boss Beauties’ mission of introducing one million women to Web3 and makes them the first women-led Web3 company to be featured in both the New York Stock Exchange and the United Nations.
