Chuo University’s soccer and basketball clubs are set to score big on the crowdfunding field, as Financier taps into the power of token issuance to raise their much-needed club fees.
FiNANCiE is a platform, run by Financier, enables organizations like sports teams and start-up businesses to raise money by issuing tokens.
Purchasers of tokens are eligible to engage in the “FiNANCiE” team communities, vote on projects that are involved in community management, be invited to participatory events, and apply for privilege lottery.
The financier claims that club fees from students and distributions from the institution have, up until this point, provided the majority of the funding for club activities at the university.
The finances are absolutely required to significantly improve the environment around club activities (living environment, eating environment, practice environment, spectator environment, etc.), but their use is restricted.
Financier aims to spread Web 3 knowledge:
Financier states that the goal is to create a better practice environment in the future by learning about the Web 3 financial industry and creating a new model case for obtaining funding for the operations of both teams.

Additionally, by creating a community that uses tokens and expanding the potential market for university sports, we hope to realize an innovation model for the sound marketization of collegiate athletics.
