NTT Docomo’s Web3 subsidary NTT Digital has started working with 13 businesses and ramped up its efforts to achieve the social deployment of Web3.
To facilitate the social adoption of cutting-edge digital technologies, NTT Digital is working on a worldwide scale as a web3 enabler to establish an environment where people and businesses can utilize web3 services and blockchain technology easily and safely.
NTT Digital has begun working on a token wallet that will serve as the gateway to the web3 service as the initial stage of the web3 enabler.
The partner companies include:

By automatically backing up private keys, utilizing biometric verification, filtering fraudulent transactions, etc., this wallet promises to be used with confidence without the user needing to be familiar with web3 or blockchain. The anticipated release date for this wallet is late 2023.
To achieve a top-notch user experience in the wallet, it will use the Web3 communication protocol “DMTP” created by the company. Using wallet addresses, DMTP enables message sending and receiving.
It was created in order to address Web3’s issue that “there is no way to contact directly with a wallet address,” in contrast to phone numbers, emails, and SNS accounts. The company aims to promote “Web3 enabler” through NTT Digital. This is to ensure a safer environment of Web3 servicse for individuals and companies.
According to a report, the corporation intends to invest 500–600 billion yen in each of the three online sectors over the course of the following five to six years.
