Ezra Miller, a famous American actor mainly known for their role as The Flash in DC Extended Universe, was arrested in Hawaii for allegedly assaulting a bar patron. The footage release shows Ezra claiming they have been arrested two times, and they filmed themselves being assaulted for “NFT crypto art.”
The question arises: Is Ezra’s filmed footage really an NFT craze or something more?
Since last year, many famous pop culture celebrities and famous actors have been dropping their own NFT collections. Just recently, Madonna dropped her own NFT collection, similarly, Chris Brown also debuted his own “The Auracle” NFT collection and many more celebrities have been collaborating with NFT brands around the world to release new collections.
Seeing the digital craze for NFTs, Ezra Miller claims they want to join the bandwagon of releasing an NFT of footage of them being assaulted. In a statement, Ezra said, “I film myself when I get assaulted for NFT crypto art.”
Why was Ezra arrested?
In the revealed footage, the police can be seen arresting Ezra from a club in Hawaii. The actor asked the police not to be searched by a man as they’re a transgender and kept asking for the policeman’s badge number. They denied assault charges by asserting that the bar patron was a ‘Nazi’ and he insulted them out of hatred against them for being ‘Jewish.’
However, compared to Ezra’s statement, the bar patron told the police he was calmly playing darts when Ezra came and spit on his face.
The arrest in Hawaii isn’t their first, according to the Hawaiin police chief, the police have received 10 complaints against Miller in the past few months.
Widely known for his Oscar-worthy acting in The DC Universe movie, The Flash, Miller’s career as an actor might be jeopardized due to these arrests. Warner Bros recently halted all projects related to Ezra and hasn’t released any updates on how they will deal with the case.
Regarding Miller’s Hawaii arrest, the footage revealed that this was their second time being assaulted like this and they have footage as evidence.
Ezra Miller’s assault footage is for an NFT?
Many people wondered why the star holds footage evidence of their assault. To which Miller claimed in the footage that they had been keeping it for NFT crypto art.
This reason has aroused suspicions as to why the star is so adamant about releasing an NFT. Miller never released any announcement or hints for NFTs, so no one knows why the actor has footage to themselves and whether it is really to be released as a digital collectible.
Although the footage might become a valuable digital asset for Ezra fans, no one really knows when and how the NFT will be released.
