Heroes Chained, a metaverse-based action role-playing fantasy game, dropped the Closed Beta trailer for its Play-and-Earn game built on Avalanche blockchain set to go live on August 5, 2022. It is a revolutionary concept that takes GameFi to the next level. Here’s everything you need to know:
GameFi is a new concept that utilizes blockchain technology with a cryptocurrency reward system. In other words, the games under GameFi are mainly play-to-earn games where players earn crypto as incentives for completing missions, battling with other players, and other in-game tasks.
Although the traditional gaming industry is against the idea of GameFi, the blockchain-gaming industry is earning millions of dollars due to an increase in interest. The biggest example is Axie Infinity, which was launched in 2021 and recorded $4 billion in all-time sales, according to Forbes.
However, the games that follow the play-to-earn concept don’t seem to give a long-term thrill to the players and eventually die out in popularity. This is where Heroes Chained emerges as a new blockchain-based Play-and-Earn game on Avalanche.
Avalanche blockchain is taking a new step into the GameFi world by introducing the Heroes Chained fantasy game as a Play and Earn game. The network is on a mission to create a multiverse and is the fastest smart contracts platform for dApps among all blockchains.
Currently, it operates 8 play-to-earn games, and Heroes Chained is the first play-and-end game to be added to the list soon.
Heroes Chained: Play and Earn game
Heroes Chained is a fantasy RPG game in which a player can become a Guild Master and recruit other players as Heroes. It introduces the “Play And Earn” concept to GameFi, challenging “Play To Earn.” The Guild works together as a team to fight against the evil in the World of Ventuna.
Unlike other blockchain games that usually offer P2E options, Heroes Chained stands out as an authentic game that offers players the opportunities to play and earn. The heroes can fight in PvE and PvP action and earn rewards in the Heroes Chained’s native token, HeC.
Heroes Chained is launching its closed beta version of the Play-and-Earn game on August 5, 2022. Today, on July 26, the team dropped a sneak peek at the upcoming game on its official Twitter account.
The trailer introduces high-quality-made landscapes, game locations, players, and a whole view of the World of Ventuna, proving it is one of the well-made blockchain-based games in the world.
Heroes Chained is set in the World of Ventuna home to many races and land which is under the dominance of Dark Lord Oblivion and his companions. Survivors from all over the world have gathered to build the largest metropolis in history called Last Hope and fight against evil in hopes to liberate the planet from evil.
Players in a guild must fight against the small champions, compete with other guilds, and complete quests to become the most powerful guild in the Last Hope.
For quests, the more players explore, the more opportunities they will get to buy lands, claim artefacts, and other in-game assets. For the PvP component, the players will fight Guild vs. Guild. With each win, the players will receive promised rewards.
Another important part of the gameplay is Crafting, in which heroes need to use crafted equipment by completing missions and quests. They can collect NFT goods and Heroes chained (HeC) tokens to exchange in-game assets in the marketplace.
Since Heroes Chained is a Play-and-Earn game, it has a crypto reward system in the form of its native coin, the HeC token. This is both an in-game and governance token to the Heroes Chained DAO community.
The maximum supply for HeC is 100,000,000 tokens and the players with the most tokens will have a say regarding game options through a voting system.
