The NFT market seems to be recovering from the bearish patterns as new collections trend on OpenSea. Among them, two projects have become the talk of the town, Valhalla NFT and Legend of Cockpunch.
The Ethereum-based project by famous entrepreneur, author of “4-Hour Workweek”, and podcast host Tim Ferriss, called Legend of Cockpunch is currently on top ranking on the marketplace.
It’s a fantasy part of Emergent Long Fiction featuring 5,555 NFTs of rooster characters, which will soon become a proper ecosystem with its own map, artwork, and more.
The collection earned international attention by generating 3,146 ETH (~$3.8M) trading volume within 24 hours of the launch. The floor price is currently at 1.3 ETH, around $1,590 on the OpenSea marketplace.
Another worldwide trending project is Valhalla, a new gaming culture featuring digital avatars designed by an LA-based company called Stacked. This collection is new but it’s taken over the market as holders will receive an airdrop of 5 native tokens per avatar.
It’s a unique project that just got revealed but already earned 5,513 ETH trading volume (~$6.7M) in 24 hours. The floor price of Valhalla NFTs is at 0.52 ETH (~$600), comparatively lower than Cockpunch.
The hype over these projects shows that NFTs haven’t lost their popularity as of yet despite the crypto winter. Although these collections might not compete with the blue-chip ones, they still hold value as collectors snip rare avatars in their possession.
Other new NFTs trending on the trading platform include Dori Samurai, Kanpai Pandas, Sappy Seals, Metaphysics by Jinyao Lin, and more.
