Prada, a famous fashion brand, is coming back with the Prada Timecapsule but this time it’s entering into the Web3 world by debuting a new collection featuring phygital NFTs of its originally designed shirts.
The holders will get an invite to its upcoming Prada Menswear Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show in Milan and other benefits.
The fashion industry is actively entering the NFT space by introducing its designer line. Brands like Adidas, Bulgari, Cartier, Hublot, Louis Vuitton, and Nike have dropped wearable collectibles for metaverse avatars.
Prada Timecapsule was launched on December 5, 2019, as a separate project but now it is entering a new phase by introducing non-fungible tokens, now under the Prada Crypted.
The limited edition of Ethereum-based NFTs will feature physical items with their NFT counterparts that can be owned on a blockchain. Starting from January 5, 2023, one physical product with 50 editions will be launched on the first Thursday of every month with a limited time of 24 hours.
The holders must join the Prada Crypted NFT community and have the NFT in their wallet to be considered official members. They need to verify themselves as the holder of the collectible to earn benefits for holding one.
