AC Milan x MonkeyLeague to launch NFT in-game assets

AC Milan Italy announces a partnership with MonkeyLeague, a Web3-based football game, to expand its NFT ventures. MonkeyLeague will be launching AC Milan-themed in-game assets.

MonkeyLeague is a Web3 strategy football game where players can own and play with MonkeyPlayer NFTs in a tournament and win rewards in MonkeyBucks ($MBS), the in-game currency.

AC Milan is collaborating with MonkeyLeague to bring themed NFT skins, wearables,  co-marketing events, and tournaments for fans. Now, the fans can have a personalized experience with MonkeyLeague.

AC Milan is the first football team to partner with MonkeyLeague and is part of its game ecosystem with various benefits for football fans, giving the club a chance to expand in Web3 as a brand.

“We are thrilled to kick off this partnership with MonkeyLeague, a collaboration that allows us to strengthen our positioning in the field of digital innovation,” says Casper Stylsvig, AC Milan CRO.

The partnership also includes MonkeyPlayers NFTs, from which some will feature a physical AC Milan jersey benefit signed by the AC Milan football players.

It will also call for the breeding season where holders can breed AC Milan assets and other items. MonkeyPlayers will also receive VIP tickets to AC Milan’s San Siro Stadium.

Since MonkeyLeaugue is a Solana-based Web3 game, AC Milan x MonkeyLeague NFTs will be launched via an auction on the Magic Eden NFT marketplace. The date of release will drop soon.
