Beeple joins Metaplex and Solana to debut 3D NFTs

Best-selling NFT artist, Beeple will be joining Metaplex and Solana ecosystems to launch immersive 3D NFTs. CEO Stephen Hess announced this at the SOL’s Breakpoint conference in Lisbon, Portugal.

Following the announcement, the prices of $MPLX, the native token of Metaplex network, rose to 18.14% in the 24h chart, gaining much attention from creators and investors.

Knowing Beeple’s reputation, especially after he sold “Everydays” NFT for $69.3M, many collectors are optimistic about his upcoming collectibles on the Solana ecosystem.

This partnership is also related to the Everyday series, users will create their own NFT using the artworks via a “randomized set of objects and time to create with.”

Metaplex network is one of the top protocols on Solana that leverages “on-chain compression to lower the cost to mint and store digital assets,” based on the official statement.

With Beeple, Metaplex will be attracting more collectors to its platform in the coming months. Previously, Y00ts utilized its on-chain royalty enforcement, and now Beeple will be joining too.

So far, only a few details have been shared about this in the announcement. However, based on Beeple’s recent interest, this collection is most likely to have more utility for the buyers.

The launch of Beeple’s NFTs on the Solana ecosystem will be announced soon.
