The successful opening ceremony of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 showed the official sponsors of the event including Crypto.com, a renowned centralized exchange and ecosystem in Web3.
Crypto.com previously was alleged to be involved with the FTX crash, causing its native token, $CRO, to drop to an all-time low last week. Nonetheless, CEO Kris Marszalek denied these speculations.
Crypto.com has regained its reputation after Marszalek held the exclusive YouTube live where he shared all the details on the firm’s loss from the FTX’s bankruptcy, estimated to be around $10M.
The exchange had already made the announcement last month stating they would be sending three lucky users from Australia, Singapore, and the United Kingdom to watch the Final World Cup match.
