DMCC signs deal with Animoca Brands’ Brinc for its $150M accelerator fund

DMCC, the world’s flagship free zone and Government of Dubai Authority on commodities trade and enterprise signs a partnership with Animoca Brands’ VC Brinc to access a $150M accelerator fund.

Recently, Animoca Brands and Bric announced they will be launching a ZK Advancer accelerator program to mentor and invest in blockchain startups that respect users’ privacy and security.

The program features a $150M fund that will be used for various networking and business opportunities. DMCC has joined Brinc which will give the members of DMCC Crypto Center access to this fund.

The members will also be able to connect with startups that are part of this program, and also receive mentoring services. Brinc will be setting up their new office in DMCC for this reason.

DMCC Crypto Center is a successful project which comprises many talented startups and companies contributing to the blockchain. It is also a safe space for crypto entrepreneurs to unleash their talent.

So far, it has attracted more than 450 firms in the crypto industry from all over the world ever since its launch in 2021.

“Our partnership with the DMCC will reveal a new pool of Web3 entrepreneurs and enable us to identify and invest in startups that shape the future,” Manav Gupta, founder, and CEO of Brinc said.

Animoca Brands has been participating in different educational and mentorship programs through its subsidiaries. Recently, Sandbox announced a $1M USD scholarship with Aventis Graduate School.

Now, Brinc, which is the Venture Capital of Animoca Brands, is taking another step to help Web3 startups and businesses grow with its accelerator program and fund along with DMCC.
