Dubai Racing Club

Dubai Racing Club announced it will debut an NFT collection as an initiative for the development of the digital asset industry in Dubai. “Dubai Sprinters” NFT collection will honor horse racing as Dubai’s national sport and give exclusive IRL & digital benefits to the buyers.

Dubai is rapidly expanding by adopting blockchain technologies such as metaverse, NFTs, and cryptocurrencies to become the world’s first digital city. Dubai officials are making quite a lot of progress in metaverse by introducing new virtual projects.

Dubai Racing Club is also taking a step into the NFT world by introducing one-of-kind artwork in horse racing.  “Horse racing has always been an integral part of the DNA of Dubai, a city that is shaping a glorious future with foresight, innovation, and excellence. We believe it is time for us to take the sport to a whole new level from a technological point of view,”  says Sheikh Rashid bin Dalmook Al-Maktoum, Chairman of DRC.

The “Dubai Sprinters” NFT collection will be released in series. The first collection will feature limited NFTs and artworks. Later, the collection will also include  “Hall of Fame” and the “DWC Runners” NFTs.

Dubai Sprinters NFT owners will receive access to exclusive benefits offered by the racing club, and also an opportunity to be part of the metaverse project by Dubai World Cup organizers, to be launched soon.

The NFT collection will be released at Meydan Racecourse’s upcoming racing season, which starts on November 4.
