Eminem x Snoop Dogg drops Ape Editions 

of VMAs metaverse performance 

The world’s first metaverse performance on an award show took place on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the MTV VMA 2022. Eminem and Snoop Dogg dominated the stage with their Bored Apes on the Otherside.

Snoop Dogg and Eminem have been quite involved with Bored Apes ever since it was launched. They first dropped a collaboration song, From the D 2 the LBC featuring Bored Apes in the music video.

The performance opened inside the Otherside metaverse with the animated Bored Apes singing. The camera then zoomed out to show animated rappers singing with Otherdeed NFTs in augmented reality.

Other than From the D 2 the LBC metaverse performance, the Bored Ape avatar was also featured during the nomination announcements in AR.

To celebrate the historical moment in the metaverse industry, Eminem and Snoop Dogg have collaborated with Ape Editions for the launch of physical art prints and a 3D figurehead of Mr. Bruce.

Ape Editions introduces AE-1 OG PRINT SET, a curated capsule collection of 1,000 limited-edition prints of BAYC #9055 and BAYC #6723 owned by Eminem and Snoop Dogg.

Additionally, Eminem also announced an exclusive limited-edition 3D rendering bobblehead figure, the BRUCE BOBBLEHEAD with a hand-painted Bobblehead in a Custom Box and Certificate of Authenticity.

There’s also a limited edition collection of SHADY COMICS CONCEPT ART for the “From the D 2 the LBC” music video that people can buy in print.
