Recently, Rockstar Games officially announced the launch of GTA 6 in 2024. Following the announcement, a leak came out claiming that GTA 6 will be a play-to-earn game with a cryptocurrency reward system.
According to rumors, the GTA 6 will release its native crypto token gamers can use to trade within the gameplay.
“GTA 6 leaks suggest the story will take place in Columbia / Miami and will include in-game cryptocurrency rewards for players to earn and trade.”
As of now, the game developer hasn’t given much detail on what it's going to look like. The official statement reads that an
“active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway.”
