The EYE collection will feature 1,001 3D animated NFTs of six characters symbolizing human emotions. There will be five characters: joy, sadness, fear, anger, and love with special attributes.
The sixth NFT character brings together all five emotions that will be sold via an auction for World Mental Health Day on October 10. All the earnings will go to Youth Aware of Mental Health.
“The metaverse is an exciting new space for fashion brands, one that is rich with potential for HUGO,” HUGO SVP Miah Sullivan said. The brand also wants to convey the message of “self-acceptance.”
“With this partnership, we aspire to strengthen Imaginary Ones’ presence beyond the Web 3.0 space and further our cause in embracing inclusivity and diversity everywhere,” co-founder Chia said.
The brand will soon open an allowlist for 1,000 people. 500 will be for those who purchase a limited edition phygital T-shirt that comes with a QR code directing users to Snapchat AR Lens.
The EYE NFT collection holders will receive a “golden ticket” of a 10% discount on all HUGO online stores and access to the IO staking ecosystem, granting holders special HUGO x IO merchandise.
