PlayNFT rolls out a new marketplace for YouTube, Twitch Content Creators

PlayNFT, a cross-chain NFT utility marketplace, rolls out a new platform on Enjin for YouTube content creators and Twitch streamers to mint NFTs with in-game utility for their communities.

Seeing the sudden rising worth of the content creation industry in the last decade, PlayNFT decided to introduce a platform solely built for creators to unleash their creativity and share it with their communities via non-fungible tokens.

Additionally, each creator will have their own storefront where users can go and buy the customized NFTs.

The platform also plans to add the utility of these branded NFTs through games like Min-Mins and Shield of Shalwend, and “game developers can integrate PlayNFT’s tools and attach in-game utility to NFTs on any connected blockchain,” the statement reads.

“PlayNFT will empower creators to meaningfully engage their audiences and infuse their NFTs with utility and value in a collaborative, accessible way,”   said Xavier Moore, CEO of PlayNFT.   “By connecting creators with game developers and in-game utility, our platform takes that value to the next level.”

PlayNFT has received funding of  $300,000 from XRP Ledger, Velas, Near, and Stacks to develop its platform. According to the official statement, around 260 streamers have already signed up on the platform.

Since PlayNFT is a cross-chain platform, the team is intended to add support for Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon, which will let users mint any NFT and share it around the chains.

By the third quarter of this year, PlayNFT will also support TikTok creators on its platform.
