The five landmarks include the Ancient City in Samut Prakan, Giant Swing, China Town, Siam Square, and Wat Arun.

Each location has 3,999 NFTs, so those who mint early will get ownership over them.

The NFTs can be claimed by scanning the QR code displayed in the locations on the YAKS app, available on both Android and iOS phones. Users can also claim NFTs from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Those who successfully scan 3 QR codes can avail of special discounts and free experiences in Thailand. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand is the first gov organization to introduce NFTs in tourism. Usually, countries are focused on building a metaverse but Thailand is integrating it with daily life.

The authorities believe NFTs will motivate people to visit the country and enjoy the virtual and physical experience together. What’s more? They can own these NFTs forever to remember their visit.

The NFTs’ QR codes are already pasted on the locations until December 14, 2022, so if you’re visiting Thailand, don’t forget to claim these NFTs if there are any left!
