Mastercard partners with Binance

Visa and Mastercard are taking decisive steps in the crypto industry. Visa launches the Bitcoin rewards card in Brazil while Mastercard partners with Binance to enable purchases via crypto tokens.

Crypto reward prepaid cards are the latest incentivized cards that can be used as a payment method to receive cryptocurrency as cash back. This card is best for those who are reluctant to enter the crypto market.

Visa is partnering with Ripio, a Brazilian cryptocurrency broker, to introduce the Ripio Card, which is the Bitcoin rewards card.

According to Bitcoin Magazine, Visa has launched the Bitcoin pre-paid rewards card in which Holders will receive 5% cashback in BTC with the goal to help users know about crypto.

The Visa Bitcoin rewards card will only be available for Brazilian consumers as of now since it’s a partnership with Ripio.

Mastercard and Binance have also partnered up to enable users to purchase items from over 90M stores worldwide via cryptocurrency. Mastercard’s CEO Michael Miebach shared the news on Twitter.

Miebach also shared that Mastercard will utilize the “full potential of Blockchain technology” to facilitate users in everyday purchases via crypto. This feature will be first launched in Argentina.

Visa and Mastercard have been rivals for decades. Both card companies are taking initiatives within the cryptocurrency world.

For the crypto community, this is good news as it will open doors to mass crypto adoption in everyday life.
