Now, World of Women NFT holders can use their NFTs as playable avatars on The Sandbox Game. On July 23, World of Women released an official teaser GIF of playable avatars for WoW Galaxy Guardians and WoW Champions in partnership with The Sandbox, to be released in the next season.
World of Women is one of the top best-selling NFT projects around the world, rivaling BAYC and CryptoPunks. It is a community that empowers women developers, creators, and builders to showcase their talent in the Web3 space.
The World of Women NFT collection became a worldwide hit on the day of its launch. Its most popular collections, WoW Galaxy Guardians and WoW Champions broke records and are still the top charting NFT collections on the OpenSea marketplace.
NFTs created by Yam Karkai are featured women PFP artworks celebrating diversity, art, culture, and globalization. Each NFT is created with unique traits of colors, accessories, expressions, and other features to become a representative of women around the world.
WoW has been making efforts to expand its reach to almost every woman from every corner of the world to become part of its community. It has also partnered with well-known celebrities and leading Web3 platforms to develop into a high-profile project over the years.
WoW partners with The Sandbox
In March, The Sandbox and World of Women announced a partnership to help the brand expand itself into the metaverse. The Sandbox also funded around $25M to the WoW Foundation which works towards bringing more women into the Web3 space.
Later, in June, The Sandbox released World of Women Museum on its metaverse platform featuring artworks drawn by women digital artists around the world and curated by WoW Fund.
The avatars from other NFT projects could visit the virtual Museum and experience the rich artwork of women belonging to different cultures.
Overall, the partnership has been a huge success for both projects as NFT fans get to experience something new and also motivate women to challenge themselves with new possibilities within the NFT and metaverse space.
World of Women teases playable characters
On July 23, World of Women posted an official tease GIF of playable characters from Galaxy Guardians and Champions NFT collections.
The NFT owners will get to experience the world of The Sandbox metaverse and also familiarize themselves with other NFT projects on the platform.
