Logan Paul’s CryptoZoo NFT project turns out to be a complete failure after the YouTuber admits to hiring conmen developers without knowing. He claims that all the money generated from the sales was stolen by the criminals, leaving him empty pocket.
Logan also addressed all the allegations made by the YouTuber journalist CoffeeZilla.
The issue of CryptoZoo began when Coffeezilla, a journalist, posted a video on 23 December 2022 exposing Logan’s project to be a scam. He shared that the team copied the code for FlokiShibX and didn’t even spend $1M for its development.
Later on 4 January 2023, Logan uploaded a video to address the allegations by saying that he was unaware of the criminal background of Zack Kelling, who was the lead developer; labeled as “Z” in Coffeezilla’s video.
He also said that the video posted by Coffezilla has defamatory intentions and that he was falsely accused of scamming people when he was scammed himself.
He explained that crypto Kind Jake stole $6M but was removed from the team as soon as they found out he was a bad actor while Eddie managed to drain $1.7M from the project.
Logan added that his intention with the NFT project was to build a community and that he has lost everything related to it.
“[I] stopped promoting publicly as soon as I knew the extent of the internal issues, took all of the heat on social media…”
The YouTuber insists that CryptoZoo will launch despite the financial loss and public backlash.
In response to this, many people pointed out that Logan didn’t apologize to investors who had poured their money into the collection.
