一般社団法人ASIA WEB3 ALLIANCE JAPAN (AWAJ), an association established to connect the Asian Web3 ecosystem with the business landscape of Japan, has joined the Digital Asset Co-Creation Consortium (DCC), a decentralized framework gathering local companies to build a national infrastructure for digital assets. As part of its mission to drive adoption and collaboration, AWAJ will be contributing to the consortium to strengthen the stablecoin ecosystem in Japan.

What is the Digital Asset Co-creation Consortium?
Digital Asset Co-creation Consortium (DCC) is a decentralized framework that collaboratively develops a new cross-industry ecosystem focusing on digital assets, in general.
The consortium was funded by Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking. However, in 2023, in order to build a national infrastructure with companies in Japan, Progmat Co., Ltd. replaced MUFJ. Following the transfer, the consortium policy now operates under a decentralized management.

Taketo Nakanshi Board Member Nominated to Represent AWAJ at Digital Asset Co-creation Consortium
Asia Web3 Alliance Japan (AWAJ) has officially nominated Taketo Nakanishi, Board Member and Cofounder of CROSSTECH, who will be leading this membership on behalf of the association.
Nakanishi Co-founded CROSSTECH, a Web3 product development firm building on CROSSVALUE Chain. He has extensive experience working with associations, businesses, and government officials to offer advice on implementing blockchain infrastructure.
As a Board Member representing AWAJ at DCC, Nakanishi will be conveying the intention of the association and collaborating with stablecoin companies to strengthen the ecosystem.
Asia Web3 Alliance Japan’s Stablecoin Subcommittee to Drive Adoption Forward

AWAJ recently launched a Stablecoin Subcommittee that aims to connect stablecoins and DeFi companies. The association revealed the Stablecoin Subcommittee Plan 2024 in efforts to bring global adoption of stablecoin in Asia’s and Japan’s evolving Web3 landscape through collaboration and networking.

Joining the DCC will contribute to the subcommittee’s goal of spreading awareness about stablecoins. President Hinza believes that this will, in the future, lead to the development of a strengthened ecosystem in both Asia and Europe.
The association will unite a broader community of fellow collaborators, potential users, contributors, and partners, making it more versatile and potentially leading to widespread adoption, which is one of the main objectives of AWAJ’s Stablecoin Subcommittee.
