BlockchainUNN successfully hosts the Biggest Campus event in Africa – “Blockchain And Beyond”.
The BlockchainUNN Conference 2.0 recently took place with resounding success, leaving attendees inspired and enlightened about the future of blockchain technology.
Held with the theme “Blockchain and Beyond the Future of blockchain technology,”
the event brought together over 2000 blockchain enthusiasts, industry professionals, and experts from around Nigeria, Africa, and the world. The conference was held from 23rd to 24th June 2023 at Ekpo Ref Hall, University of Nigeria Nsukka.
The conference featured a wide array of workshops, panel sessions, and captivating keynote sessions, all aimed at exploring the limitless potential and future of blockchain technology. Throughout the conference, attendees were treated to a series of engaging workshops that delved into various aspects of blockchain technology, and skills needed in the industry.

From Decentralized Finance(DEFI), Crypto trading, transitioning into Web 3 from Web 2, Technical writing, Blockchain content writing, Blockchain development, Smart contracts, and software development, these workshops provided valuable insights into the practical applications of blockchain in different industries.
Participants had the opportunity to learn from renowned experts, explore real-world use cases, and gain a deeper understanding of the transformative power of blockchain.
The panel sessions proved to be another highlight of the conference, with industry leaders and visionaries sharing their stories of how they started in the space and their perspectives on the future of blockchain technology.
Gifts worth NGN 1,000,000 were given out. Several students were awarded scholarships, and 5 students won laptops. The conference left the participants with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and determination to drive blockchain technology forward.
The knowledge shared, connections made, and ideas sparked during the event will undoubtedly shape the future of the blockchain ecosystem in Nigeria, Africa, strengthen the global blockchain community, and also pave the way for innovation and collaboration in this ever-evolving field.
