Binance NFT announces partnership with famous Norwegian producer and DJ, Alan Walker to debut “Alan Walker Origins” NFT collection featuring three music videos from his Origins album and get a share of the revenue from the streaming on YouTube.
The collection is set to go live through the Subscription Mechanism on Binance NFT Marketplace, on July 15, 2022.
Widely known for his worldwide hit song “Faded” which got certified platinum in 14 countries, Alan Walker has been continuously making music for many years. He even has his own universe called Walkverse which connects to a concept or storyline for each album.
This time, the DJ is coming back with another new project, but there’s something different about it. Recently, Walker re-released his Origins album on July 1, 2022, with the slogan “Let’s Head Back to the Beginning.” Now, he’s entering the NFT space to revisit his past and mark a new technological beginning with his signature EDM music.

What is the “Alan Walker Origins” NFT collection?
Recently, Binance NFT dropped an official announcement on Twitter stating a collaboration with Alan Walker to release the “Alan Walker Origins” NFT collection on its marketplace.
The NFT collection will feature 10 NFTs from 3 music videos. Each NFT will be an 8-second video clip from his upcoming music videos for the Origins album that fans can own digitally.
“The Origins EP will be comprised of Fade, Force and Spectre; three instrumental tracks Alan produced in his bedroom back in the early 2010’s and released on the record label NCS.”
The “Alan Walker Origins” NFT collection will be sold on Binance NFT Marketplace at a fixed price of 10 BUSD (10 USD) for each digital collectible.
Benefits
The collection is basically an “Alan Walker Origins” NFT scavenger hunt in which fans can collect different NFT clips and join them together to form the complete music video.
This idea is similar to the concept of his many music videos in which Walkers from all over the world unite in one place.
“The NFTs in this collection contain some key scenes in these music videos. If you get your hands on one, tweet it using the hashtag #origins and work with other Walker fans to piece the full videos together on Twitter.”
In other words, fans can meet other fans from all over the world and unite to make a difference through Web3 technology.
What’s more? The fans will get a share of revenue generated from YouTube via a payout from Corite. This means DJ Alan is creating a progressive community of his fandom where people can earn and thrive together as one.
How to buy the “Alan Walker Origins” NFT?
According to the official announcement, Binance NFT will be releasing the “Alan Walker Origins” NFT collection via Subscription Mechanism, which is a BNB pre-requisite that ensures equal distribution of NFTs on the marketplace.
Each wallet can only buy one NFT during the primary sale but can buy as many as they want from the secondary marketplace.
The Subscription Mechanism is the primary sale by Binance NFT which will take place in four phases:
Phase 1 – Preparation: The users must have a minimum of 0.1 BNB token on a daily average to participate in the primary NFT sale from July 15 to July 17.
Phase 2 – Subscription: The selected users will receive one participation ticket and they need to submit them to enter the pool where every committed ticket can only access 10 BUSD from their spot wallets. This will take place from July 17 to July 18.
Phase 3 – Calculation: On July 18, the system will select winners from committed tickets to mint the NFTs for the primary sale.
Final Phase – Distribution: The winning committed tickets will be able to mint NFTs during the public sale on July 18. Those who didn’t win will receive the 10 BUSD refund to their spot wallets.
After the Distribution phase ends, the NFTs will be displayed on the secondary marketplace where users can trade their favorite digital collectibles.
