Chivas Regal is bringing the whisky into the metaverse Regal Planet in partnership with Blackpink’s Lisa. The K-pop idol will host a party where attendees can get a chance to experience various immersive events. The brand plans to showcase its whiskies in a virtual space.
The metaverse fever is spreading across the world as global brands adopt virtual technology into their marketing and promotions. Looks like people are finally realizing the worth it holds for business and networking.
Platforms like The Sandbox and Decentraland have reported an increase in users over the months as many projects and companies showcase their products through them at a global scale without having to move physically and also by utilizing high-quality creator tools that these spaces provide.
Chivas introduces the Whisky Metaverse Party
The Regal Planet is an exclusive virtual platform for whisky lovers to gather. The attendees will first create their own custom avatars based on their preferences and choices available. Then, they will enter the lobby called Rise Up, they can also meet their fellow friends or socialize with people present there.
There is a separate space, ‘Hustle Area’ where people can explore the brand’s huge range of whiskies and even expand their knowledge about the drinks in a professional gathering.
Lastly, the ‘Regal Stage’ will happen where the special host Lisa will introduce the attendees to the brand since she’s the official representative of Chivas. She will hold a Q&A session to answer all the questions from fans. She will also demonstrate how to mix her signature Pink Spice cocktail, which is the most popular among the fans, followed by 3D virtual fireworks, leaving a lifetime memory.
What’s more? You can also capture a virtual selfie with Lisa and even get a chance to interact with her. The star might not be present physically, but you can still meet her virtually.
For whisky lovers, Chivas’ Regal Planet also has a virtual vending machine in China and Malaysia where users can buy Chivas expressions.

The Regal Planet with Blackpink Lisa will begin on November 27 at 9 p.m. CST. The replay of the event will be available on Regal Planet on November 30.
