Magic Eden recently rolled out Polygon Launchpad and gaming marketplace as part of its goal to become a multi-chain NFT trading platform. The world’s second-largest marketplace also minted the first Polygon-based project called “Shatterpoint” on December 15.
The Solana-based platform is finally taking a step into the MATIC universe by introducing a launchpad, which enables creators on Polygon to mint their creations without any complications.
Magic Eden has already listed Polygon NFTs on its marketplace but now it’s fully integrating the chain by direct mints. The platform released the first play-to-earn action role-playing game called Shatterpoint designed by BlockGames and Estoty.
“We’re excited to officially bring our snappy, seamless NFT minting and trading platform experience to Polygon…” Magic Eden COO Zhuoxun Yin said in an official statement.
Following the Launchpad release, Magic Eden has also shared they will soon be minting many games starting with Infinite Drive with Aston Martin this month and then Kakao Games, Taunt Battleworld, and Planet Mojo in the first quarter of 2023.
All in all, it wants to become the center of the gaming marketplace with multi-chain support for both creators and collectors. Magic Eden already has Ethereum and Solana launchpad, which brought 400 projects on board over the past year, according to the statement.
Magic Eden recently released a loyalty program called Magic Eden Rewards for users to earn points and redeem benefits. The marketplace is actively working on new projects and features for users.
